The West Bengal State Science & Technology Congress (WBSSTC) is a flagship program of the Department of Science and Technology and Biotechnology, Government of West Bengal. It provides a premier platform for scientists, researchers, scholars, and academicians to share their research findings, exchange new scientific ideas, and innovations in diverse fields of science and technology.

  • Programme Details Duration – 1 Day
  • Date: 16th September 2026 | Time: 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM
  • Venue: Newtown Convention Centre (erstwhile BBCC)
    HFJF+XMC, Canal Bank Rd, DG Block (Newtown), Action Area I, Newtown, West Bengal 700156
  • Physical registration is mandatory. Physical registration will begin at 8:45 AM and close sharply at 9:30 AM.
  • The participation certificate will be sent to the registered email address.
  • Participants must bring the same photo ID proof that was provided at the time of online registration on the day of the event.
